Getting ready for the Wedding

What would a wedding be without a few personal touches.  Stephanie has a beautiful vision and today is the day to put the finishing pieces together.  One of the last pieces are her names for the tables.  To go with her rustic theme we have been collecting corks for the past year (thanks Doug and Lindsey there are a number of Chardonnay corks amongst this group).  What a great idea and so easy.

Always lots of things to do the week leading up to the wedding, including the rehearsal party which was held at the Graham’s on Thursday night.  A beautiful day for a bbq and cold salads, who would have thought on October 5.  Most of the wedding party arrives at the church for 6:30.  There are 4 coming from out of town 2 from Scotland, 1 from New Brunswick and 1 from BC.
Father of the Bride and Groom are staying out of the way as we get ready to head to the church.
Ali is busy putting last minute touches on the trifle as everyone else gets ready.

Duncan, the Minister of St Andrews Presbyterian in RH greets us all and we are ready to get lined up and practice walking down the aisle.  A beautiful little church that feels like you have stepped back in time to Scotland especially when Duncan starts talking and his lovely accent reverberates around the church.

Lincoln our littlest ring bearer is checking everything out, keeping Mom close by.

Needless to say a trip up to the balcony is a requirement for the 3 ring bearers, they want to make sure they get everything right on Saturday.

A little brother sister hug.

Stephanie lines everyone up, lots of laughter and lots of marching down the aisle, they all promise they will move slower on Saturday.  David and his groomsmen are quite happy to stand in their spots and stay out of the way :)

Back to the Grahams and the bbq is on as everyone is ready for a famous Chris Burger.  The wine is flowing and the kids are all relaxing as they get excited for the big day.
